Monique Thierry

Monique Thierry is the Vice President at the Congressional and Public Affairs Southwest-South Central Regional office, overseeing operations across eight states. She builds and nurtures strategic partnerships with officials, chambers of commerce, businesses, and associations. Thierry emphasizes diplomacy and instructs on effective advocacy, drawing from her prior role as VP of Government Affairs for Chamber Southwest Louisiana. Her advocacy post-Hurricane Rita and during redistricting garnered recognition for preserving the region's integrity. Committed to service, Thierry has held leadership roles in state and federal politics, including under former Governor Kathleen B. Blanco and former New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial. She's involved in organizations like Ellevate Louisiana and the Council for a Better Louisiana. Thierry's dedication to diversity is evident in her involvement with Coca-Cola Enterprises' diversity initiatives. She's also engaged in leadership programs like Leadership Louisiana and holds certifications from the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organization Management and the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Education and Workforce Business Leads program. Thierry contributes to various committees, including the U.S. Chamber’s Small Business Council, New Orleans Super Bowl LIX host committee, and Energy and Environment committees, and advises the U.S. Chamber Women Taking the Lead Initiative, reflecting her commitment to driving impactful policies and empowering women in leadership roles.
