Margarey Valdez

Margarey’s love for graphic design developed at a young age while helping in her Mother’s sign shop, a small business called ‘Signs for the Times'. She was experimenting with vectors and pushing pixels by the time she was ten years old. She took her first job outside the family business in the IT department of a Central Texas firm when she was 16. There, she gained an appreciation for business processes and tech solutions. She also built her first—albeit ugly—website straight from code. As her skills evolved, Margarey’s U.S. and Puerto Rico multicultural upbringing served as the primary influences on her innovative, fresh, and modern design aesthetic. With the launch of Market Design Team in 2017, she has truly answered her calling: helping local and regional businesses thrive and grow.
