Mr. Terry Zrubek

Terry Zrubek is the Deputy Executive Director of Texas Economic Development & Tourism (EDT), within the Office of the Governor. EDT markets Texas as one of the world’s premier business and travel destinations. As Deputy Executive Director, Zrubek supports the oversight of multiple divisions including Business & Community Development, Economic Development Finance, Tourism, Texas Workforce Investment Council, Texas Music Office, Texas Film Commission and the Texas CHIPS Office. Previously, Zrubek served as the Director of the Economic Development Finance division, overseeing the division’s three main areas of financial incentive programs: grants, loans and tax rebates. These programs total more than $1 billion dollars in state and federal money.
 

Zrubek has a degree in economics from Texas State University, a Master of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University, with a concentration in corporate finance, and has completed the Governor’s Executive Development Program at The University of Texas at Austin
