Rhonda Ellisor

Rhonda Ellisor is the director of Sam Houston State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in The Woodlands/Huntsville.  She is an SHSU alumna with a BBA in general business. She is also a Texas Real Estate Broker and a private pilot. Her background includes work with various types of small businesses as a small business employee, founder and owner. She has a long history in a variety of real estate sales and leasing, promotion, event planning, budgeting and marketing positions. Prior to SHSU, she served as the executive vice president for the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce and director of the Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Sam Houston Statue Visitor Center and Gift Shop. During her time at the Chamber of Commerce, she oversaw the economic development effort, bringing the local business community together and developing pro-business initiatives.
